By browsing this website and making a reservation at MAP Boutique Hotel, you agree to the following Hotel Policies, House Rules, and Terms & Conditions. These form part of your reservation agreement, and your cooperation ensures a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.
Guest Policies
Age & Identification:
Guests must be at least 18 years old to check in. For security and fraud prevention, all guests are required to present a valid government-issued photo identification (Passport or ID Card) at check-in, regardless of payment method. For safety and legal compliance, minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The Hotel reserves the right to request valid identification and written parental authorization. Failure to provide the required documentation may result in refusal of accommodation.
Payment & Settlement:
All bills must be settled upon presentation. Personal cheques and foreign currency are not accepted. Payment can be made via Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners Club, or Amex. Credit cards must be signed by the cardholder to be valid.
Check-In / Check-Out:
- Check-in is any time after 15:00 hrs.
- Check-out is by 12:00 noon.
- Early arrivals and late departures can be arranged for an additional cost and are subject to availability. Contact [email protected] for requests.
- Check-outs past 14:00–18:00 are charged 50% of the daily rate; after 18:00, the full day’s rate applies. Failure to vacate may result in removal of the guest and belongings.
Children Policy:
- Children up to 5 years old stay free.
- A cot is available upon request and is charged €15 per night.
- Children aged 6–18 are charged €35 per night.
Luggage Storage:
- Subject to availability, guests may store luggage in the hotel luggage room at their own risk.
- Luggage may not be stored for more than 5 days.
Room Policies
Maximum Occupancy:
Room occupancy is based on fire safety regulations. Exceeding the allowed number of guests may require renting an additional room. Room rates are based on single/double occupancy.
Non-Smoking Policy:
MAP Boutique Hotel is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking of tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, vape pens, hookahs, incense, candles, essential oils, or any strong-smelling substances is strictly prohibited. A minimum fine of €300 applies for violations.
Do-Not-Disturb & Housekeeping:
- Daily housekeeping is provided between 9:00AM–6:00PM.
- Housekeeping will respect the “Do Not Disturb” sign once during a 36-hour period. Subsequent room entry may occur for safety, maintenance, or policy enforcement.
- Linen is changed every other day; towels can be replaced as needed.
Noise & Quiet Hours:
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 08:00. Guests are expected to keep noise, voices, and devices at a respectable level. Doors should be opened and closed quietly, and running or congregating in hallways is prohibited.
No Parties:
No in-room parties or loud disturbances are permitted. Registered guests are responsible for all visitors. Non-registered visitors must leave by 23:00.
Room Keycards & Visitors:
- Keycards are issued only to registered guests.
- Government-issued ID is required for replacement cards.
- Visitors must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed.
Candles, Incense, Essential Oils:
Prohibited in all rooms and areas. Violations are treated as smoking infractions.
Damage Policies
Guests are responsible for any damage or theft of hotel property, whether caused deliberately, negligently, or recklessly. MAP Boutique Hotel may charge your credit/debit card for damages, including:
- Damage to rooms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment at 150% of the replacement value.
- Damage to mattresses, linens, and towels at 150% of the replacement value.
- Smoking or prohibited items fees.
In extreme cases, criminal charges may be pursued.
Safety & Fire Policy
The hotel is equipped with smoke detectors and emergency evacuation plans located on the back of each guest room door. In case of fire or emergency, notify the Front Desk immediately.
Privacy & Data Protection
MAP Boutique Hotel respects your privacy in accordance with EU GDPR and Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018. We collect personal information such as:
- Name, nationality, date of birth, ID/passport details
- Contact information and booking details
- Payment information, marketing preferences, and CCTV footage for safety

Terms of Payment & Cancellation
Payment:
Full payment is required 7 days prior to arrival. Purchases will appear on your statement as WWW.MAPHOTEL.COM.CY.
Cancellation:
- Free cancellation up to 7 days prior to arrival.
- Cancellation within 7 days, no-show, or early departure incurs 100% cancellation fees.
- Refunds are not provided, but exceptional cases may receive a credit voucher valid for one year.
External Events:
MAP Boutique Hotel is not responsible for events affecting travel plans, such as flight cancellations, strikes, or natural disasters. Travel insurance is recommended.
Management Rights
- Guests must behave respectfully and avoid nuisance or disturbance.
- Management may request any guest to vacate the premises without notice.
- All hotel policies, house rules, and modifications are binding and may be updated on our website at any time.
